Read To Succeed Society is a reader-first literary community. We expect thoughtful conversation, credit given to authors and other members, and zero tolerance for harassment, hate speech, spam, or self-promotion outside the designated Author Spotlight lanes. Moderators may remove content or accounts that break these rules.
We collect the information you give us (name, email, city, reading interests, messages) so we can invite you to events, send the newsletter, and reply to your questions. We never sell your data or share it with third parties for advertising. You can ask us to delete your account and everything tied to it at any time by writing to readtosucceedsociety@gmail.com.
The site uses a small number of first party cookies and local storage entries to remember your session, keep forms working, and understand aggregate traffic. We do not use third party ad tracking cookies. Your browser controls let you clear these at any time.
Opening a free reader account is instant. Becoming an approved Society Member (invitations, private rooms, member badges) requires a short review by Daniel Carter and is usually confirmed within two working days. Author accounts and the Author Spotlight go through the same review. Approval is at the Society's discretion.
Free events remain free. For paid workshops or premium sessions, we refund in full up to 48 hours before the start time. If we cancel or reschedule an event, we refund automatically or credit the ticket to the next date, your choice.
Book covers, excerpts, and author photos remain the property of the respective authors and publishers. We use them under fair use for discussion and promotion. If you are a rights holder and want a change or removal, email us and we will act within 72 hours.
