The Curator
S. Wonderful Miracle
Reader and Author Connector · Founder of Read To Succeed Society
Daniel Carter is the curator, host, and connective tissue of Read To Succeed Society. He built the community after years of watching remarkable nonfiction and memoir titles get lost in the noise of algorithmic recommendations and one-star reviews.
He believes books deserve conversation, not applause, not takedowns, but the kind of honest, warm, structured discussion that happens when readers show up prepared and curious. That conviction shapes every event he leads.
Daniel personally selects each title, interviews each featured author in advance, and moderates the live reader discussion before inviting the author into the room for a virtual Q&A. It is a two-stage format he designed to protect reader honesty and reward author generosity in equal measure.
Outside of the Society, Daniel works alongside authors as a spotlight partner, editor, and marketing collaborator, helping independent writers find the audiences their work deserves.
Curated selection
Daniel personally reads and vets every title so members meet books that reward slow, thoughtful conversation.
Reader-first discussion
Sessions begin with readers alone, free to speak honestly before authors join the room.
Author interviews
Private conversations with authors surface the story behind the story, then feed into the live Q&A.
Genuine community
Relationships over transactions. Members and authors leave each event with real connections.
